Anne Marie Boberg was a Swedish textile artist whose designs are inherently Scandinavian. She has produced a wide variety of röllakan throughout the mid-20th century. Her designs are highly influenced by Scandinavian motifs, featuring softer colors paired with classical designs as well as chic geometric patterns. During her partnership with Axeco Svenska Company, she produced many flat weave röllakan that were handwoven. Boberg is also known for her publication on the art of macrame that came at a time of its international revival. It’s no wonder that her textiles have attracted many designers and artists alike.
