Antique carpets long and narrow enough for a corridor or a stair. French needlepoint is the largest group, with Aubusson and Savonnerie runners beside it and a smaller number of Persian, Caucasian and Turkish pieces. They date from the middle of the eighteenth century onward. A runner has to suit a particular length of floor, so it is worth telling us the dimensions you need.
