Vintage carpets of eighteen feet and over. Kilims are the largest group, mostly Persian, with Swedish flatweaves and Moroccan Berber carpets beside them. A flatweave of this size is far easier to live with than a pile carpet of the same dimensions, being lighter underfoot and simpler to move, which is part of why they were woven so large.
