Bohusslöjd was the handicraft association of Gothenburg and Bohus county. It was founded in Gothenburg on 15 February 1906 as Hemslöjdsföreningen Konstfliten, took the name Bohusslöjd-Konstfliten in the 1940s, and was later known simply as Bohusslöjd. It went bankrupt in January 2010 and closed the following month, after more than a century.
It ran its own workshops for weaving, embroidery and furniture, alongside shops, exhibitions and courses, and from 1940 kept a well known shop on Kungsportsavenyn. Its weaving produced flatwoven rölakan carpets in wool on linen warp. Because the association changed its name, the mark on a piece helps date it: see Konstfliten, Göteborg for work carried under the earlier name.
